BARCELONA, Spain (AP) — Defeating yet another Spanish countryman, Carlos Alcaraz stayed on track to defend his title at the Barcelona Open.Alcaraz beat Alejandro Davidovich Fokina 7-6 (5), 6-4 to make the semifinals on Friday.Along with beating Roberto Bautista Agut in the quarterfinals, Alcaraz improved his record against Spaniards to 9-1 since the start of 2022. ARAPAHOE COUNTY, Colo. (KDVR) — A little calf is taking up residence in the backyard of a homeowner in Arapahoe County.Arapahoe County Sheriff's Office responded to a call to assist Arapahoe County Animal Services in relation to a calf living in a residential neighborhood near East Smoky Hill Road and South Himalaya Street. When ACSO's Deputy Ferguson arrived at the home, the homeowner explained the situation.According to the homeowner, he owns a ranch in Douglas County. A cow at the ranch gave birth to a calf but was not able to produce enough milk to feed the baby. Investigators have made a big break years after three people were killed at a graduation party. (AP) — Alabama law enforcement officials said Friday they’ve arrested a man accused of murder, eight years after the victim was reported missing from a Florida city.The Baldwin County Sheriff’s Office in Alabama said Decody Herring, 32, was charged with the murder of Devin Kennedy of Pensacola, Florida. Authorities said no staff or prison inmates were taken hostage during a daylong “incident” at the Bristol County House of Correction that led to officers escorting prisoners out of the facility in handcuffs.
