Police: Queensbury woman arrested for selling drugs QUEENSBURY, N.Y. (NEWS10) -- On Saturday, Amanda L. Comer, 34, of Queensbury, was arrested and charged with Criminal Sale of a Controlled Substance in the Third Degree. Comer was remanded to the Warren County Correctional Facility for lack of $15,000 cash/$30,000 secured bond/$60,000 insured bond. The arrest was made after the Warren County Sheriff's Office's Narcotics Enforcement Unit conducted a controlled buy operation. During the operation, Comer sold methamphetamine to the police.

That funding has since ended, which is why advocates are asking Governor Hochul to include it in the state budget. Man shot after Metro Bus attack in St. Louis ST. LOUIS - A gunman shot a man who allegedly attacked him Monday afternoon on a Metro Bus in north St. Louis, police say. The shooting happened while both were riding on the bus in the 4700 block of West Florissant Avenue in the Mark Twain neighborhood. Man who stole CHP cruiser injured after throwing himself out of vehicle in Antelope Valley A man who allegedly stole a California Highway Patrol cruiser appeared to be seriously injured after throwing himself out of the vehicle as he was being chased by authorities in the Antelope Valley Tuesday afternoon. The CHP cruiser, a Dodger Charger, was stolen as officers were responding to a crash on the northbound 5 Freeway at Hasley Canyon. Officers began chasing the speeding vehicle as it reached 100 mph, CHP officials told KTLA. Once at 87th Street West and West Avenue D, the suspect flung himself out of the speeding vehicle and hit on the roadway hard, while the cruiser crashed into a light pole and went off the road, news footage showed. Once the man left the vehicle, he appeared to hit the back of his head on the roadway.Officers were then seen providing medical aid to the man, who was eventually taken to a hospital around 12:55 p.m. His condition is unknown. No further details about the incident have been released.

Loved ones on Tuesday pleaded with the public for help solving a 2008 double homicide in South Los Angeles.They reminded the community that the victims' killer is still out there. Clifton Hibbert Jr. was only weeks from graduating from Cal State Northridge when he and his friend, Kenneth Patterson, were fatally shot after returning to another friend’s apartment during a night out on March 20, 2008. They were on spring break at the time, and Hibbert was hoping to get a scholarship for an internship in Washington, D.C.Hibbert, 22, an aspiring business law attorney, and Patterson, 23, were gunned down outside the building and the unknown assailant got away. The gunman was with a woman, and both were seen running away from the scene. L.A. nonprofit traveling to Nashville to create memorial for school shooting victims  A Los Angeles based nonprofit organization is making a trip to Tennessee to create a memorial to honor the six victims killed in a mass shooting at a private Christian grade school on Monday. Classroom of Compassion will be creating six public altars, each dedicated to the six lives lost in the tragedy that unfolded at The Covenant School in Nashville.
