(BCN) -- The Alameda County Sheriff's Office is asking for the public's help in locating a missing at-risk woman from Hayward. MiaRochel Jones, also known as MiaRochel Saengkao, 34, left her mother's residence on Camden Avenue about 6:30 a.m. Monday. She is described as 5 feet 1 inch tall, weighs approximately 260 pounds, has a short black afro and was last seen wearing a blue sleeping gown with pink slippers. Deputies said the missing woman is considered at-risk and has been diagnosed with bi-polar disorder, schizophrenia, depression, and an unknown liver condition that results in seizures. These celebrities decided to leave California in recent years "Mia is developmentally delayed, and has mental acuity of a teenager," deputies said in a missing persons statement. According to law enforcement, she is familiar with the areas of Hayward, San Leandro, and Oakland. Jones is known to frequent the Creekside Center in Hayward and Bayfair Center in San Leandro. (KRON) -- The Oakland Police Department is investigating a possible barricaded suspect in the vicinity of a Home Depot store, KRON4 has confirmed. The incident is occurring in the 700 block of 37th Avenue. (KRON) -- Two more shootings broke out on Interstate 880 in Alameda County within the past four days. The most recent shooting happened on Sunday at 9:43 p.m. on I-880's southbound lanes in San Leandro. The victim's vehicle was struck by three bullets near the Davis Street exit, the California Highway Patrol Hayward Area office said. CHP officers said the victim did not suffer injuries. The shooter's vehicle was described as a white SUV.A second shooting on I-880 happened in Union City on Decoto Road on Thursday at 2:29 p.m., according to the CHP.I-880 is a heavily-traveled interstate that connects the South Bay to the East Bay.Several shootings have unfolded on I-880 this year, including one tragic shooting in Fremont that took the life of 5-year-old Eliyanah Crisostomo. Around 100 residents are receiving support after a fire tore through a three-story building in College Park, Maryland, on Monday morning, leaving most of the structure heavily damaged.Prince George’s County Fire and EMS told WTOP that the extent of the flames caused part of the roof to collapse. An aerial survey from a Maryland State Police helicopter showed much of the building’s upper floor had been reduced to a charred wreckage.Two adult residents were hospitalized with minor injuries, according to fire department officials. DENVER (KDVR) — More than 15,000 migrants have received help from the city of Denver since an influx began at the end of 2022.The milestone happened in mid-August as Denver approached 750 migrants sheltered on any given day. The increase in migrant arrivals first occurred in December of 2022, with hundreds of people needing assistance arriving in the city each day. The number of migrants declined through mid-January before a slow lift carried into late March, followed by a noticeable drop in April.That changed again, though, with a spike in early May after a federal COVID-era rule limiting asylum seekers, called Title 42, ended.By mid-June, the number of people being sheltered in the city had dropped below 500 people, but it has been steadily increasing since, with 744 people being sheltered as of Monday.
